Four-legged friends are welcome in all Gohlke vacation apartments. You can indicate that you will be bringing your dog when you make your booking. Multiple dogs are possible in exceptional cases and after prior review, but must be discussed with us in advance.
There is an overnight fee of €25 per night for your dog.
There are dog beaches at Lake Hopfensee, Lake Forggensee, and Lake Bannwaldsee where your pet is allowed to swim.
Forggensee boat trips allow dogs on board. You must purchase a small ticket for your four-legged friend in advance. This costs a flat rate of €4.00. Dogs must remain on a leash during the trip.
In Füssen and the surrounding area, dogs are generally allowed on mountain railways without any problems. Some railways require dogs to wear a muzzle, so we recommend that you bring one with you in any case. A separate (cheaper) ticket often has to be purchased for four-legged friends.
Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed inside. However, you can explore the fairytale castle together on all the paths around the castle and in the outdoor area.
If you take your dog to the alpine pastures, remember that in summer the pastures are the living room and dining room for farm animals such as cows, horses, and sheep. Therefore, always keep your dog on a leash. Be sure to keep your distance from grazing animals and remain calm.
In principle, yes, but there is no entitlement to transport unless it is a service or guide dog. Please note that your dog must wear a muzzle or be kept in a transport box.
There is a Fressnapf store located at Kemptener Straße 63 in Füssen. This ensures that your pet has everything it needs, even when you are on vacation.
