Before your arrival, you will receive our guest folder containing lots of important information about your stay. It contains everything you need to know before, during, and after your visit—from how to get here and what facilities are available to tips on leisure activities and restaurants. We have put a lot of care and attention into designing this folder and would be delighted if you could take a moment to read through the information it contains.

General information about your booking

Bookings can only be made via our booking form or our online booking system.
We’re happy to help with any questions you may have – however, the booking itself must be made in writing via our system or via our booking enquiry form.

You can easily book your preferred accommodation online via our website or send us a booking enquiry. Alternatively, you can also contact us conveniently via WhatsApp.

The minimum stay is three nights. Shorter stays are, however, possible if there are gaps in the booking – please just ask us.
For bookings of less than 7 days, we charge a short-stay surcharge of €40.00

Our holiday flats can accommodate between one and six people.

Once you have made your booking, you will receive a booking confirmation by email containing all the important details about your stay.

Payment is to be made by bank transfer.

  • Deposit: 30% upon booking
  • Balance: four weeks before arrival
  • If your booking is made within this period, the full amount is due immediately. You will also find all the details in your booking confirmation.

Yes, once we have received your deposit, you will receive an invoice stating the payment deadline for the remaining balance.

Changes or rebookings are possible in exceptional circumstances.Please contact us by email.

Smoking is prohibited in all accommodation. It is only permitted in public areas.

No, parties or celebrations are not permitted in our accommodation. We ask for your understanding.

Yes, all our prices are per night.

Yes, the visitor’s tax varies depending on the location:

  • Hopfen am See: €3.00 per adult / €1.50 per child (per night)
  • Eisenberg: €1.10 per adult / €0.80 per child (per night)
  • Seeg: €1.95 per adult (per night)

Yes, we offer a 5% discount for stays of more than one month.

Yes, we strongly recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance. You can book this individually with many providers.

If you have left any items behind at the accommodation, please contact us directly.
If we find them, we will be happy to send them to you.
Please note that we will charge a small handling fee as well as the postage costs.

No, the reception isn't staffed around the clock. But you can contact us at any time.

A deposit of €150 is required upon arrival. This can be paid conveniently via PayPal. If you do not have a PayPal account, you can also pay the amount in cash on arrival.
You will receive all further details regarding this on the day of your arrival.
The deposit will be refunded no later than 24 hours after your departure, once the flat has been inspected, either via PayPal or by bank transfer to your account.

A deposit of 30% of the total amount is required at the time of booking. The remaining 70% is due no later than four weeks before arrival. Once we have received the deposit, we will send you an invoice stating the payment deadline. If the booking is made less than four weeks before arrival, the total amount must be paid immediately.

Yes, children are very welcome here.

  • Dogs are very welcome here!

  • The charge for dogs is €25 per dog per night.

  • One dog per apartment is permitted.

  • Additional dogs are only allowed on request.

  • Please keep your dog on a lead at all times on the premises and inside the buildings, as not all guests like dogs or may be afraid of them.

  • Please do not allow your dog to relieve itself directly in the outdoor areas of our property. Should this happen, please dispose of the dog’s faeces immediately and thoroughly.

Yes, all properties have private parking spaces – one parking space per flat is reserved for you.

We don’t have our own charging station, but there are several fast-charging stations in the vicinity.

Our accommodation is situated in some of the most picturesque parts of the Allgäu – ideal for hiking, cycling and relaxing. You’ll find some great ideas for your stay in the Allgäu on our website.

  • Guests at the Magnushof have exclusive use of the sauna area.
  • Guests in Hopfen am See enjoy access to a private jetty on the lakeside promenade.

At Magnushof, there is a cosy lounge available for your use. There you will find:

  • Darts
  • Table football
  • Television
  • Perfect for a fun evening with family or friends!

Important information about your stay

We offer contactless check-in, as we cannot be on site at all properties at the same time.
Check-in is available from 3 pm – so you can be flexible with your arrival time.
You will receive your arrival information, including the access code for the key box, 7 days before your arrival.
This information is essential for gaining access to the flat.
Unfortunately, check-in is not possible without this information.

Please ensure you check out by 9.30 am at the latest.
Please leave the flat in a clean and tidy condition.
A late check-out is possible on request and for a fee, provided the flat has not been re-let immediately.
Please contact us in good time – we will be happy to let you know whether a late check-out is possible and, if so, at what cost.

Yes, free Wi-Fi is available in all our accommodation.

Yes, all flats are equipped with a television.

We do not offer mid-stay cleaning. A final clean will be carried out after your departure.
Please leave the flat in a clean and tidy condition.

Please dispose of all your rubbish in the blue bins by the house.
You do not need to sort your rubbish, as we will do this for you.
We are aware that this involves additional costs for us – yet we are happy to do so, as the well-being and comfort of our guests are very important to us.

Facilities in the holiday flats

A filter coffee machine is available in all our apartments.
We also offer the following options:

  • At Haus Gohlke am See, there is a fully automatic coffee machine in the stairwell. This can be used for a fee and offers various coffee specialities such as espresso, cappuccino or latte macchiato.
  • At Haus Magnushof, there is also a fully automatic coffee machine available in the lobby for a fee.

This means you can choose at any time between freshly brewed filter coffee in your apartment or a fully automatic coffee machine with a selection of specialities.

Our kitchen is equipped with basic essentials. These include:

  • Crockery (plates, bowls, glasses, cups)
  • Cutlery (knives, forks, spoons)
  • Cooking utensils (pots, pans, chopping board, salad bowl, wooden spoon, etc.)
  • Filter coffee machine
  • Kettle
  • Toaster

In apartments with an oven, there is a baking rack with baking paper. Baking trays or additional racks are not provided. If you have particular baking preferences or wish to prepare special dishes, please bring the necessary utensils with you.

No, for hygiene reasons we do not provide any spices. If you need salt, pepper or other spices for cooking, please bring your own.

One large and one small towel per person are provided in the flat.
A bath mat is also provided.
You will also find a hairdryer in the bathroom.
Additional towels can be purchased for a fee if required.
A basic supply of toilet paper will also be available upon your arrival. Please note that this is not replenished daily. For longer stays, please bring your own toilet paper.

The Magnushof features a beautiful fireplace, which is lit by the staff during the colder months or on special occasions. Guests are not permitted to use it.

On request, we are happy to provide a cot and high chair for a small fee.

Questions about the Magnushof

Yes, at the Magnushof, a small, cosy sauna area is available to guests who have booked with us in Eisenberg.

Please note:

  • The sauna must be used without clothing.
  • You can hire towels or bathrobes on site for a fee, or bring your own.
  • Please dispose of your rubbish yourself after using the sauna.
  • You can find the sauna times on our website.
  • Space is limited, so it may happen that further access is temporarily unavailable. However, a regular rotation ensures that all guests can use the sauna – particularly when the Magnushof is fully booked.
