lake tour
ideal for active people
Around Eisenberg, cyclists can enjoy a wonderful lake tour covering around 35 kilometers, which is well suited for mountain bikes or e-bikes. The starting point is Eisenberg, from where the tour initially leads gently along field and forest paths to the idyllic Kögelweiher lake. The route continues to Seepark Schwaltenweiher, where small climbs and flat paths along the shore invite you to stop for a swim or picnic. The route then leads through forests and fields to the clear Weißensee lake, past magnificent views of the Alpine foothills. On the way back, you can relax as you ride through charming villages back to Eisenberg, ideal for stopping for coffee and cake.

experienced bikers
alpine Trails
Are you an experienced biker with good stamina and confident handling on alpine trails? Then the Allgäu Alps offer you just the right mix of adrenaline, spectacular views, and secluded mountain nature. Here is a small tour recommendation: The tour starts in Pfronten and initially leads along wide forest paths up to the Breitenalpe. It then continues steeply uphill on narrow, root-covered single trails to the Breitenberg summit region, where you can enjoy impressive views of the Allgäu and Tyrolean Alps. The descent takes you down technically demanding paths with steep hairpin bends, rocks, and root passages towards the Eisenberg Valley, interrupted again and again by short counter-climbs.

cycling with children
fun for the whole family
The region also offers numerous opportunities for children. For example, a 10-12 km tour starts in Eisenberg and initially leads leisurely along flat field and forest paths to Kögelweiher, where children can take a break or let off steam on the shore. The route continues on well-maintained paths through meadows and small forests, past picturesque villages, without any major climbs – ideal for little legs and first cycling experiences. Halfway along the route, it's worth stopping at Seepark Schwaltenweiher for a picnic or a refreshing swim. The route then takes you back to Eisenberg along gentle paths, past meadows and farms, so that the children have plenty to discover along the way.
